Our story began in 2010 with a trip to a remote place "El Rubio" in Dominican Republic. My great-grandmother, 101 year old at the time, took me to her kitchen and reintroduced me to raw cacao powder made from organic beans to make me feel better and live longer.
Packed with superfood nutrition and energy booster antioxidants, this cacao powder food gave me the energy to live each day to the fullest. Before long, I had enough energy to climb a mountain and a message to spread once I got there.
This raw cacao powder has improved my life…because it did wonders for my body and mind, I wanted to share them with the world! So, after three decades of family tradition of consuming this wonderful food, in 2017, my wife Karla and I, incorporated Bondado LLC in Florida to bring genuine raw cacao powder to the USA.

Farms with cleaner air, rain water, rich soil and farmers who love what they do, make for a great cacao powder. The pursuit of these components are essential to who we are. Bondado pursues that experience every day to our domestic and international customers.
When you taste dark chocolate that contains raw cacao powder, it takes you by surprise first, but then you don't want to let go.
Letting chocolate dissolve slowly in your mouth produces as big increase in brain activity and heart rate as a passionate kiss—but the effects of the chocolate with pure raw cacao powder last four times longer!
Although there are several hundred different chemicals in our typical slab, a handful of them seem to be more important than others in making dark chocolate taste so good. Among the most important are stimulants including theobromine, phenylethylamine.
A truffle that is made from raw cacao powder contains a feel-good chemical called anandamide, which is found naturally in the brain, and is similar to another one called anandamide THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). Normally anandamide is broken down quite quickly after it is produced, but some biochemists believe the anandamide in chocolate makes the natural anandamide in our brain persist for longer—in other words, giving us a longer-lasting "chocolate high."
